🔒  PDFOne processes all files entirely on your device. We never upload, read, or store your PDF files on any server.
1. Information We Collect

PDFOne is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the app's functionality.


2. Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of PDFOne displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

PDFOne Premium users see no ads and no AdMob data is collected.


3. Camera Permission

The Scan to PDF feature requires camera access. Camera images are used solely to create PDF documents on your device. No images are stored beyond the document you choose to save, and no images are sent to any server.

On Android 10+, files are saved via MediaStore to Downloads/PDFOne/. We do not read or access any other files on your device beyond those you explicitly select.


5. Data Retention

PDFOne does not retain any user data on external servers because none is ever sent. Temporary processing files are stored in your device's cache directory and are automatically deleted by Android when space is needed or when you clear the app's cache.

Saved output files in Downloads/PDFOne/ remain on your device under your control and can be deleted at any time.


6. Third-Party Services

PDFOne integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

All ML Kit processing occurs entirely on-device. No document content is sent to Google for OCR or translation.

PDFOne Premium includes AI-powered features (AI PDF Chat, AI Summarizer, AI Question Generator, Translate PDF) powered by the Anthropic Claude API. When you use these features:

PDFOne is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided personal information through the app, please get in touch with us so we can address the situation promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted within the app. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of PDFOne after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
